Questions
What does it cost?
$9 per naming project, one payment, no subscription. A project is a full run, 5 full appraisals and a free re-run if no name fits. Naming more than one thing? 5 projects cost $29.
How do you know a domain is available?
Every name is checked against the live registry while the owls work. A name only makes your list when its domain is free to register on the day, so you never fall for a name someone already owns.
Do you sell domains?
No. You register your favourite at the registrar of your choice, such as Namecheap, Porkbun or Cloudflare, at their normal price. No markup, no commission.
Do you check trademarks?
No. A free domain is not trademark clearance: we check domain availability only. The full appraisal tells you what to search for, but checking trademarks and other naming rights is your responsibility before you use a name.
What makes a brand name ownable?
Distinctiveness. A coined word or an unexpected real word is easier to protect and to rank for than a description of what you sell. The appraisal says how ordinary a name is in your category and what to search for.
